We, talmidim (followers) of King Moshach,
Yehudites/Jews and Ephraimites/Non-Jews have to keep Shabbat,
as our Master did.
Start
to prepare for Shabbat in advance. For instance, cleaning
of the house can be done on Thursday. Carefully plan the menu
for the dinner. On Friday try to make some arrangements with
your employer to leave work earlier. (Of course, if you have
a Jewish or Messianic employer who keeps Shabbat himself,
you will not have any problems). Let the whole family be involved
in the preparation for Shabbat. It will be nice if your husband
will pick up a nice bouquet of fresh flowers and a bottle
of kosher wine. Celebration of Shabbat has to be a delight
and not a burden. On Erev Shabbat (eve of Friday) the last
preparations are made for the Shabbat celebration. The whole
family gathers at the table to celebrate the Shabbat of Yahweh.
The table is adorned with a beautiful white cloth. The Shabbat
candlesticks are shiny. The challah (Shabbat bread) and a
Kiddush cup (cup with wine) are ready. A beautiful challah
cover is spread over the challah.
A woman has the honor of lighting the Shabbat candles.
Blessing over Shabbat

who sanctified us by your commandments, and commanded us to

Then the Father who is a cohen/priest in the family says the

Blessed are You, Yahweh our Elohim, King of the universe,
who creates the fruit of the vine. Omein.
Then the husband blesses his beloved wife.
Usually Davar Yahweh from Mishlei/Proverbs 31:10-31 is pronounced
over the wife. Personalize,
Blessing over wife
Who does find a capable wife as
my _______(your wifeâ€'s name) ?
For she is worth far more than rubies.
The heart of her husband shall trust her,
And he has no lack of gain.
She shall do him good, and not evil,
All the days of her life.
She shall seek wool and flax,
And with delight she works with her hands,
She shall be as the ships of Tarshish,
She brings in her food from afar.
She also rises while it is still night,
And provides food for her household,
And a portion for her girls.
She shall consider a field and buy it;
From her profits she shall plant a vineyard.
She shall gird herself with strength,
And strengthen her arms.
She shall taste when her gain is good:
Her lamp does not go out by night,
She shall stretch out her hands to the distaff,
And her hand shall hold the spindle.
