Messianic Celebration of Purim

Purim is described in the Book of Esther as the Feast to be celebrated on the Erev of the 13th of Adar which corresponds to Eve of February 27, 2010.

The Body of Messiah Yahshua is called to stand with Israel and Jewish people at this crucial hour. Ruach Elohim/Holy Spirit is calling you to start the three days of Esther fast (no food or water) from sun down on February 24 through February 27th sun down. Join us for the Warfare Intercession for the Peace of Yerushalayim/Jerusalem and the salvation of the Yehudim/Jewish people.

Pray for Yerushalayim

Significance:

Celebration of victory and deliverance for the Jewish people as the tables were turned in the Book of Esther. After the destruction of the Southern Kingdom of Judah or House of Judah/Beit Yehudah, with the capital in Jerusalem/Yerushalayim, the Jews/Yehudim were taken into the seventy-year Babylonian captivity by King Nevuchadnezzar/Nebukadnetstsar.

When ancient Persia took control over Babylon, Haman, royal vizier to King Ahasuerus/Ahashverosh, planned to destroy all the Jews/Yehudim, but his plans were foiled by Queen Esther and Mordechai, showing that Yahweh Elohim of Yisra’El was and is and will be in absolute control of events.

King and Queen

The Jews/Yehudim went from being the "victims" of an evil decree against them, to becoming the ones allowed by King Ahashverosh to destroy their enemies.

The day after the battle was designated as Purim, a day of feasting and rejoicing. The three days of absolute fast (without food or water) called “Esther’s’ fast”, is usually observed by many disciples of Adon/Master Yahshua all over the world.

During the Feast of Purim the Book of Esther is taught. Usually people send “gift food portions” called “mishloach manot” to one another, and eat special pastries called “Oznei Haman” (“Haman’s ears”) in Hebrew or “Hamantashen” (“Haman’s pockets”) in Yiddish. Children usually wear costumes of Queen Esther, Mordechai or Haman. Public celebrations called “Purim shpiel”, played by the children, convey the saga of Purim and its cast of characters.

PREPARATION FOR THE MESSIANIC PASSOVER

sacrificial animal

To the 12 Dispersed Tribes of Yisra’El
Yehudah/Judah and Ephrayim

Passover is almost upon us. Vayiqra/Leviticus 23:5 commands us to celebrate Passover. “In the first month/Abib/Nisan, on the fourteenth day of the month, between the evenings, is the Passover to Yahweh.”

In the New Covenant/Brit Hadashah Master Yahshua celebrated Passover with His disciples. Yohanan/John 13:1, 2, “And before the Festival of the Passover, Yahshua knowing that His hour had come that He should move out of this world unto the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end. And supper/Passover Seder taking place, the devil having already put it into the heart of Yehudah from Qerioth/Judah Iscariot, son of Shim’on to deliver Him up.”

We will be celebrating Messianic Passover and not traditional one. The center of Messianic celebration is Yahshua HaMashiach – Yahshua the Messiah of Yisra’El. He is the Lamb of Elohim Who took away the sin of the world.

Messianic Passover is the Feast of Redemption, the Feast of Deliverance from the bondage of sin and slavery. We will be celebrating personal exodus from the dominion of hasatan to the freedom and liberty in Adon/Master Yahshua. I Yohanan/John 3:8b “For this purpose the Son of Elohim/Ben Elohim/Yahshua HaMashiach/the Messiah was manifested: to destroy the works of the devil.”

Would you like to join us? Let’s get rid of all leaven from our hearts, families, congregations and our nation! I Corinthians 5:8 “Let us observe the festival/Passover, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of evil and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.”

Let us celebrate the beginning of the New Year in our Master Yahshua HaMashiach with the songs of deliverance and dances of triumph over our enemies. Let us get rid of all leaven from our hearts, our lives, our families, our houses, our congregations and our nation! Let us proclaim the Revival of Repentance to the Both Houses of Yisra’El!

CELEBRATION OF THE MESSIANIC SEDER

seder plate

Shalom Mishpocha/Family of Yahshua HaMashiach,

Welcome to the Messianic Seder! You might say: “What is the difference between traditional and Messianic Seder? The center of the celebration of the Messianic Seder is Yahshua HaMashiach-Yahshua the Messiah of Israel. He is the Lamb of Elohim Who took away the sin of the world.

lamb's blood on the door

Passover or Pesah in Hebrew is the first spring Feast given to the Yisraelites by Elohim of Yisra’El. It is the Feast of Redemption. It is the Feast of Deliverance from Mitsrayim/Egypt, land of slavery and bondage.
Yisraelites were and are the descendents of the 12 Tribes of Yisra’El. All Yisra’El, all 12 Tribes of Yisra’El must keep Pesah/Passover: Yehudim/Jews and Ephrayim/born from above Christians. You might be one of them. More and more Gentiles (non-Jews) are discovering their Jewish roots: starting keeping Shabbat instead of Sunday, celebrating Biblical Feasts of Yahweh, keeping the Torah, covering their heads, wearing tallits, blowing the shofars etc.
You might say: “But I am not in Egypt! What significance does it for me?” The Body of Messiah is in Spiritual Egypt. We live in sin: we lie, we cheat, we steal and we whore. Our children have gone astray because of our rebellion. We are sick, poor and ignorant. WE ARE POWERLESS. WE ARE THE HEARERS, BUT NOT THE DOERS OF THE WORD.  Come to learn how to come out of the spiritual Egypt and Babylon. Discover Elohim’s tools of deliverance and start bearing fruit worthy of repentance. Hag Sameach! Happy Pesah!

Proclaiming the REVIVAL OF REPENTANCE,
Rabbi Hadassah Ryklin

Ekah/Lamentations 2:13
How shall I admonish you,
To what shall I compare you,
O daughter of Yerushalayim?
To what shall I liken you to comfort you,
O maiden daughter of Tziyon?
For your breach is as great as the sea,
Who shall heal you?
Your prophets have seen
Falsehood and folly for you,
And have not shown you your crookedness,
To turn back your captivity.
But their visions for you
Are misleading messages.
